Aim: To spread best practice, reduce infections and improve outcomes for patients with vascular access devices (VADs).
Purpose: To discuss best practice in relation to the management of VADs. To capture the experience of front-line clinicians and use the findings to inform the development of resources to support improvement.
Delegates: We are seeking to bring together front-line clinicians from acute and primary care, members of the Infection Prevention Society, the National Infusion and Vascular Access Society and the Association for Safe Aseptic Practice who have expertise in managing patients with VADs.
We are seeking to draw on your expertise during the day, to inform the development of strategies and resources to support best practice in relation to care of VADs.
Information gathered during the day would be made available to delegates and there will be further opportunities to participate in the work of the collaborative.
