My name is Tatiana Tonu, and I work as Specialist in Anaesthetics at East Cheshire NHS Trust, for the last 7 years. I have always been interested in vascular access, this is how I have implemented with the help of NIVAS guidance, vascular access service in my Trust, appointed as clinical lead in 2024, which started as an initiative, continued by submitting the business case and now as a full running service. Simultaneously, I have developed as course director and training on US guided cannulation at my Trust. At the moment, I work closely with the training team on CVAD training for the staff and I participate actively in developing the local guidance for hospital and community staff.
I am excited about the opportunity to serve NIVAS and to work together towards a prosperous future. I look forward to the possibility of contributing my skills and passion to our shared success.
